Multikultivator proudly presents the fundraising concert “The Strings of Desire” by the extraordinary young harpist Zoja Djordjevic. All proceeds from ticket sales will be used to cover the costs of Zoja’s studies in Norway.

Zoja Djordjevic: The Strings of Desire

Zoja enrolled at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo, in the class of the famous professor Ms Isabel Perrin. During the past 10 years, Zoja has been awarded at numerous competitions in Serbia and abroad as a soloist and with the chamber ensemble. Dedicated, hardworking and devoted, Zoja holds the Vuk’s diploma from two high schools. Moreover, she is the Student of The Generation in high music school Stanković. In addition to regular music education, Zoja never missed an opportunity for additional professional training with professionals from Serbia and abroad.

Zoja loves to perform. On stage, she feels inspired and free. She performed at the Kolarac Endowment Concert Hall, The Residence of Princess Ljubica, Belgrade Youth Centre, Belgrade Cultural Centre, Mikser Festival, Super Dot, The Museum of Science and Technology, Gallery Progress, The King Peter’s Residence. In 2019 Zoje performed the opening to the concert of Catrin Finch and Seckou Keita in Belgrade. Last year Zoja performed at the residence of the Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Belgrade on the occasion of the official celebration of the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II.

In concert at the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall, Zoja will take you on a journey through different epochs and she will demonstrate an unexpected range of possibilities of the instrument she plays, as well as the nuances of her musical character. Along with the compositions and arrangements for solo harp, Zoja will perform in a duo with the principal cellist of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra Aleksandar Latković and Berklee College of Music alumnus Andrija Gavrilović (flugelhorn).
